Summary Description

Llanfair-Ar-Bryn church lies outside its parish and within Llandovery. The parish is the hills country of north Carmarthenshire an area of strong nonconformism. William Williams Pantycelyn, the hymn writer and evamngelist was born within the parish in 1717. The local bandit, Twm Shon Catti established himself in the cave Ystrad Ffin in the C16.
